About Us

Rubey Realty, Montgomery Countys oldest real estate firm, serving all of Southwest Iowa, has been in operation since 1956 when Wade and Margy Rubey founded the business. Wade and Margy believed in honesty, hard work and treating people with friendship and respect.

What began as an agency that sold mostly farms with a handshake has evolved, over the years, into a full service real estate operation that helps sellers and buyers with residential, farm, lots and commercial properties at private treaty or auction.

Clint Rubey joined his parents in the business in 1971 and now he, and his wife, Julie, are broker/owners of Rubey Realty. They, along with three enthusiastic sales agents and two amazing administrative staff, continue to honor the values upon which the company was founded.
